We love getting questions about floating, our studio, and why we do what we do. And from time to time we'll even get a message from a guest with a touching story.
From time to time we'll share a few of these questions and stories with you. So if you have a question, even if you think it's silly, don't be shy - go ahead and ask.
If you have a story to tell about your experience, please share.
Below are three questions, where they came from, and our responses.
You don't have a phone number listed anywhere? Is that on purpose? - Daniela, Facebook
It is. We had a phone in-studio when we first opened and guests shared it was disruptive to their experience. We agreed and had it removed. Totally understand this isn't standard for a business so we work really hard at being very responsive electronically.
I'm scheduled to try this for the first time tomorrow. Should I bring a swimsuit and/or shower supplies, towel, etc? - Katya, Email
The large majority of guests (>99%) float nude and the reason our filtration systems are so hefty.
But if you feel you'd be more comfortable in a swim suit, please bring it with you :)
Each room has it's own 17" rainfall shower, rustic LED mirror, hair dryer, and fluffy towel. We have a natural hemp soap (which is good for skin and hair), ear plugs, and other amenities you'll need for the experience.
I swung by but nobody was at the studio. What are your hours? - Todd, Email
Sorry we missed you! The first available session of the day starts at 8:30am and the latest float begins at 8:30pm. We're appointment only and all reservations are made online.
Sometimes between appointments we step out to eat, attend a meeting, do a load of towels, and would hate to miss you again. So please let us know if you'd like to setup a day and time to come by, tour the studio, and chat - we'd love to meet you.
